Capability

Rain Tests: Rain testing is conducted per military specifications and industry standards. Rain can be combined with winds in excess of 100 Knots. Common specifications include MIL-STD 810, DO-160D and MIL-STD 202.

Dust Tests: Dust testing is conducted in Dynamic Labs dust chamber, which can accommodate part sizes of approximately 100 cubic feet. Chamber is designed for MIL-STD 810, procedure I, wind velocities ranging from 300 to 1750 feet per minute, and can be modified as required for other velocities. The chamber controls wind velocity and temperature. Dust of all types can be used. A typical test is 24 hours in length and includes varying temperature ramp rates.

Salt Fog: Dynamic Labs has two salt fog chambers. Chambers maintain temperatures of 35C and percipient fall rates suitable for MIL-STD 202 and 810E military tests. A standard salt solution is 5% by weight and a typical test is 48 hours wet followed by 48 hours dry. Large and small parts can be tested in our chambers.

Immersion: Dynamic Labs has a 2-meter deep immersion tank. Immersion testing is performed to simulate hydrostatic pressure on waterproof parts where leakage is a concern. Dye can be added to the tank fluid to facilitate detection of leaks that occur in the part.
